Mark Hintzke, Managing Director
CRTP was conceived by Mark while finishing his Masters Degree in Land Resources at the Institute for Environmental Studies, (University of Wisconsin). His study interests included development issues, environmental ethics and endangered cultures. His Masters thesis was a study of Buddhist ethics and how they can be applied to development practices, specifically in a free Tibet. In addition to his Masters degree he holds a degree in Construction Management, also from the University of Wisconsin. Mark comes from a family of contractors, and has more than twenty years of experience in the construction field. He has a passion for teaching/training and has served in these capacities on several projects. He has experience with non-profits, and served on the Board of Directors as "Director of Construction" for Self-Help Housing in Wisconsin, where his duties included training low-income people in the construction of their own homes. His interests in diverse cultures, his background in restoration and his zeal for volunteerism make him especially suited to head an organization like CRTP.
